Hanging out at vovó's and vovô's

Nalini and Taj's grandparents' home in São Paulo is fun, because it offers a great infra-structure for children. Among other things, their building has a nice playground downstairs and a generous area for little ones to enjoy themselves. It's also easy to find friends to play with in the building, since there are several toddlers living here, and they all gather downstairs on a daily basis. So I thought I'd post some pics of these fun moments here:

2006 is World Cup Year! With this spirit, we decided to train Nalini on soccer early on, after all she is Brazilian, and has a reputation to keep :).

I have to say, though, that she wasn't too excited about playing with the ball and shooting for the goal. What she really wanted was to use her new bycicle:

That's when her friend Bruno showed up. He was obviously trying to impress her, since he brought his "nice big car" (that's how he calls it!):

You'd think such a cheap trick wouldn't work to impress a sophisticated girl such as Nalini. But, hey, she's just a girl after all... At her first chance, she jumped into the "nice big car", and went off to drive it - but not before adjusting the mirrors:

And then: zooooooom!

That looks like so much fun. I wish I could go and play on a playground right now.
