We also took our chance to do a few hikes with the kids. But how can you best bring a baby up the hill on a hike?

Walking up very slowly - try taking baby steps :)



Or - an even better idea - let your enthusiastic toddler push the baby up the hill on a stroller (and we got quite a few looks for that one, but really - Nalini did want to push that stroller up all by herself!)

Don't get distracted by the strange creatures you encounter on your way (did I mention that we got to see a bear really, really close? Where was my camera at that moment - where was it??)



The gorgeous landscape will motivate you to keep going up that hill - I promise the effort will pay itself off :).

At the end of the day, we were rewarded with a stunning sunset. What an adventure!
