Beijo Power

Last week, Nalini fell down in the park and scratched her hand slightly. At the sight of a small injury on her hand, she ran to Ana, who gave her a beijo (a kiss) on her hand and promised her that everything would get better. The remedy seems to work wonders - now, several times a day, she'll come to Ana to get a little beijo on her hand. She approaches with a very sad face, which turns into a smile as soon as the beijo is given. She also asked other friends for a beijo, and even a doggie, who gave her a generous lick :). And, when no one is around, she'll bring the hand to her mouth and give it a kiss herself.

...If there's one lesson she learned, it is that there are very few ailments a good kiss won't cure :).
