Shakespeare in the park
Yesterday, despite the warnings for a thunderstorm in Frederick , Nalini and I managed to convince Jamila to join us watching A Comedy of Errors as a part of The Shakespeare Project. The performances take place in the evenings, at open air in the amphitheather of the beautiful Hood College, 5 minutes away from our house. It turned out to be a beautiful warm evening, and the performance (it was their premiere this year) was a success! It was so nice to seat on the grass munching on an ice cream (well Nalini was munching on something else...) with the fire flies, and watch a very well done performance. Nalini enjoyed the piece very much - she even participated outloud in some of the dialogs during the first half. During the second half, she showed her appreciation of another of Shakespeare's pieces: A Midsummer Night's Dream (ZZZZZZZZZ :). All in all a very pleasant evening, and a quite nice farewell to Frederick!
