Co-sleeping.

Nalini can be a challenging co-sleeper. She tosses and turns, takes most of the bed for herself, complains if everyone else moves too much and kicks off the blanket of herself and anyone else sharing the bed with her. But co-sleeping definitely has its rewarding moments. Yesterday night, she woke up at around 3am, laughing her head off - maybe something she was dreaming? She made sure to wake me up, and together we lay in bed laughing for 10 minutes, before going back to sleep. Lately, in the mornings, she wakes up before me, crawls out of bed by herself and goes to her toy box to play. It is only after 15-20 min that she realizes she's rather hungry, and then crawls back to bed in order to nurse. And she's always in a good mood when she first opens her eyes! I'm looking forward to watching her grow up and graduate to her own bed, but I know I will miss the interaction that co-sleeping allows us to enjoy.
