We're finally back to blogging again!

After a long break, we're back to blogging :). In these past few weeks, we've experienced a lot of fun things, been to several places where there was no phone or internet, and visited a lot of old friends. Basically, we're having a lot of fun! We're currently in Salvador, visiting our friends (Big) Nalini (that's right, another Nalini!), Bruno and Breno. And it's carnaval!! That should explain why Ana is finding little time to update the blog :)...

After 2 months in Brazil, both (Little) Nalini and Jamila are speaking Portuguese almost fluently. Nalini says a lot of words: "bana" for banana, "au-au" for doggie, "miau" for cats, "cócó" for hens and all sorts of other birds, "tótó" for horse, "alô" when the telephone rings, "não" - her favorite word, and what makes Jamila and Ana really proud: she says "papai" and "mamãe", and with a beautiful Brazilian accent!



That's us in Genipabu, with our friends (Big) Nalini, Breno and Bruno. (Little) Nalini and Breno became best friends!
